Q:
How does the process work?
A: Submit an order form, we will reply back to you with a cost,
time frame, and how to pay. Work will not begin untill you have
paid. Once paid, we will need a list of all information that is
to appear on
the ad and any specifics about how you want the ad to look. If
any photos are to be used in the ad,
the
size of these photos need to be "straight out of the camera"
or at least 1024x768. Anything
smaller, will be low quality when printed in the magazine.
Q: How do you know what size I need?
A: When you pay for the ad space, you will recieve a sheet via
fax or email which states the different sizes that each ad takes
up. I will need this information since each magazine varies.
Q: How do I submit the ad to the publishers?
A: They will either give you an FTP account which we can upload
the ad to, or a mailing address to
mail a CD with the files on it and a printed proof to. Cost for
sending this to is not included in the
price of the ad since most of the time it ends up being overnight
shipping to meet deadlines. If you
dont want to pay for overnight shipping, please give us a reasonable
amount of time to finish the ad
and mail a proof.
Q: They're asking me if I want full bleed
or not. Whats this?
A: A full bleed ad will extend to the edges of the page and will
most likely touch the adjacent ads. A non-bleed ad will have a
white border all the way around the ad. A full bleed ad gives
you a little extra usable space and makes the ad look better.
