General "I need a website, what now?" Questions...
1st, you will need a web host. This is the company who will "store" your files, etc. We usually recommend Dreamhost as we've had pretty good luck with them and their top notch service--not to mention their insanely good pricing.
2nd, you will need a domain name. This is your ".com address" or URL as they call it. ie. www.mysite.com. If you have a pretty common business name, yours may already be taken, so you might have to come up with something creative. Usually, shorter is better. Don't use any weird spellings or hyphens--that just decreases the odds someone can find your page by typing it in. You can usually get your domain name from your web host so you do not have to use several companies to accomplish this. Dreamhost offer's this free with a hosting plan, or you can independently use sites like Register.com or Godaddy.com.
3rd, you will need someone to make your site, and upload it to your host. That's where we come in.
